The platform supply vessel Island Empress, owned by Island Offshore from Ulsteinvik, Norway, has succesfully taken over all tasks of the platform supply vessel Island Endeavour in the Southern North Sea (SNS) Pool.

The Island Empress is of the type UT 755 LN and has been built in 2007 at the Norwegian Brevik construction yard.

The Island Endeavour has constantly been part of the SNS Pool since August 2008.
